What We Believe.

Foundational

We believe that God is one being, and three person, each distinctly different from each other, but making up one whole: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:18, Luke 3:22, John 14:16)

We believe each member of the Godhead has been active, throughout all of human history, creation and preexist all things in existence.

We believe that man was made in Gods image; He made them male and female. (Genesis 1:26-27)

We believe the Bible is God's unerring, infallible word and the final authority on all things. (John 16:13, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21, 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

We believe in the fall of mankind through sin and temptation.

We believe in the redemption of mankind through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, His virgin Birth, begotten through the Holy Spirit, His perfect life, His ministry on earth, His death on the cross, His resurrection 3days later and His ascension into heaven. Redemption means the old creation is gone and a new creation is born.

We believe those who acknowledge their need for Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior receive eternal life free from eternal punishment. This act alone is all that needed for a person's salvation.

We believe in a literal end of all things and final judgement where Christ will return and take up those faithful and judge the world one final time.

Core Values and Beliefs

We believe that water baptism through immersion is a step every believer should make as an act of obedience to Jesus Christ and as a declaration of His work to make us a new creation.

We believe the Holy Spirit is inside every believer upon accepting Jesus as Lord. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a separate event for the purpose of filling us up with God's Spirit to sanctify us and equip the saints with power for ministry.

We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and Fruit of the Spirit as active in the church today. That "as Jesus is, so are we to be in this world."  Whatever Jesus did on earth, we have the same ministry and greater. We believe that gifts of tongues, healing, prophecy, and miracles are for today and are a result of a vibrant relationship with God.

We believe in the importance of communion in proclaiming and celebrating Christ's sacrifice and atoning work on the Cross.

We believe that tithing to the local church is an important step in our walk with God.

We believe as a church, it is our duty to be a blessing to the community, to minister the Gospel of Peace and to walk in a ministry of reconciliation.
